Review existing business processes at a global industrial chemical
manufacturer. Identified and promoted the use of E-business software to
automate the creation of requisitions and purchase orders. Restructured
the organization to attain a reduction in total headcount which
generated savings of several million dollars while improving operating
metrics.
Merger Integration
Attained
substantial post merger cost reductions for a Canadian service
organization by restructuring the combined entity. Developed and aided
in outsourcing print management and the design and delivery of
promotional services and products.
Strategic CRM Initiative
Created
a CRM roadmap and capability blueprint for four divisions of a global financial services firm. Developed and delivered a
common set of CRM/IT "best practice" criteria that were shared across
the company, delivering $30 million in savings.
Corporate Development
Designed a
diversification and acquisition strategy for a major European materials
producer for entry into the North American market. Identified and
examined a number of potential acquisition candidates.
Strategic IT Management
Produced
an execution strategy for the expansion of global IT outsourcing to
reduce operating costs and meet the financial savings targets sought
from a major Telecom merger. Established sourcing strategy, managed the
acquisition of offshore vendors and established an offshore subsidiary,
resulting in annual savings of several million dollars.
Early Stage Venture Development
Advised early stage bio-tech firm on raising seed capital and focusing the R&D effort to establish proof of technology.
Enterprise Profit Improvement
Created
a business strategy and technology roadmap for the largest credit card
company in Venezuela. Introduced Lean operating techniques and improved
major sales procedures which resulted in a 30% improvement in return on
assets.
Supply Chain Management
Streamlined
critical raw material purchasing guidelines for a multi-division global
company. Interviewed the major value participants and recommended
unique partnerships to restructure the supply chain resulting in an
immediate savings of $5 million.
